When you say a row of data, do you mean that the values "123456" are in seperate fields, like

Col1 Col2 Col3 Col4 Col5 Col6
1 2 3 4 5 6

Or that the data is all in one field, like this

Col1
123456

Or some other configuration?

Also, when you say "output", what format is that? Datasheet or Report?

The values 123456 represent separate column, like

Col1 Col2 Col3 Col4 Col5 Col6
1 2 3 4 5 6

I would like to store the in a text file.

So I am assuming then that you have some sort of method of retrieving one row of data to output to a text file. Is that a query, or are you taking parameters from a form, and then retrieving the data, and then outputting it to a text file?

Where do you want the text file saved, and what named? Or will you allow the user to chose the location and the name?

I have query that generates a table with the row of data. A second query saves the info to a text file.
