i want to put Code in tableA so that when adding a new record in formB, it is easier for user since code is tied to partname.

However recordsource of formB becomes mixed with from TableA & TableB Fields..so i am unable to add a record on formB.

Any solution?

I think the solution is to redesign the underlying table structure to make this work the way you want.

What are the relationships between these tables? If it is one to one, as it seems, then it needs to be restructured.
