Default Odd form behaviour

When I click on design in a form and then click on the event form_open from the properties window, the vba code window opens however I get this error message appearing as soon as I try to type in.

"event doesn't match known procedure"

I am trying to complete the coding of post id 66052 (the bit in last major post about in form open event) as the same bug has resurfaced again.
