Combo box interior color changes

When I open my forms the combo boxes have a white interior and black text, which is the default and the way I'd like them to stay. But when I browse records, the combo box becomes transparent, by which I mean the interior color of the combo box becomes the same as the color of the form. I hate this behavior because this does not happen on the other controls and makes for an odd appearance. Is there a way to prevent this?

Update: I got the combo box color to stay the same by changing the form's Alternate Back Color to white. I'm not sure if I might suffer any unintended consequences or not...any thoughts?

This is odd behavior. If the background of the form is a color and your combobox is not transparent to begin with, why would browsing cause it to become transparent? Check your VBA code for settings and also check your conditional formatting.
