Default count a Boolean field

Hi,

I am new at this. I have several fields that are yes/no. I need to count the yes's and no's of those fields separately, How do I do this in a query?

Post Boolean Field Count

1. Create a simple query which contains only your boolean field and shows ALL records.
2. Open your new query in Design View.
3. Select the Design tab at the top of your screen and select Totals (button contains a sideways M).
4. Locate your boolean's field column on your query screen and ensure the Total row indicates Group By.
5. Find the next available (empty) field name column on your query screen and insert the following data on that column:
BOOLEANCOUNT: [Enter your Boolean's field name here]
Select your Table's Name
Change Group By to Read COUNT
6. Save
7. Run Query

Hope this helps,
