Default Image Filters

In Access XP (also Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), if you try to insert an image from a file (not from Clip Art), you get a dialog box that opens in thumbnail image view. Why doesn't the preview include Word Perfect Graphic (.WPG) images? All those thumbnails cannot be seen, however if you actually select one, it imports fine into your form. Is there an add-on I need to download and install? If so, where is it? Thanks.

Do you have word perfect installed on your pc? Your computer may not recognize it . Try doing this from a pc that has word perfect installed.

No, I don't have WordPerfect installed. Since my posting, I've discovered that it's not just Microsoft Office that cannot view WPF graphic files in thumbnail view. Windows Explorer also cannot view them in thumbnail view. I suspect that Explorer is the culprit and not Office because the Insert > Picture dialog box that opens in Office is probably being powered by Explorer.
