Default Microsoft Office Access vs. Stand alone Access

On my current two computers I am running Microsoft Office Professional 2010. I am planning on building myself another PC later this year but I don't want to install MS Office with all of the bloat it brings. I don't need the other Office apps as I use alternative programs. I need to know if the stand alone version of Access is functionally identical to the Office version and if all of my Access applications' VBA code will run normally. Is there anything that could cause problems? Thank you.

Yes, they're the same. You can't do Access integration with Word or Excel if you don't have Word or Excel but otherwise they're the same.
