Default concatenate with characters

I am displaying few characters in the datagrid. How can i add .. with that value.
for example: the length of the string is 60 characters.
Now i have to display 10 characters with .. in datagrid
eg. abcgrfedsv..

What type of datagrid column are you using? Where is the data coming from?
