Default Data Adaptor - IBM AS400

I am new to VB. I am trying to code(not use the Wizard) the data adaptor and connection to an IBM AS400 using ODBC. I have been searching for an example without any success. Does anybody have any examples that I can use?

Thanks In Advance for the help/

If you've installed Client Access you should've able to connect to IBM AS400 using ODBC.
