Default Data Source

I am running Visual Basic Express 2008 and when I try to add a connection to a Microsoft SQL Server Database File in the Database Explorer window I get an error. In the Change Data Source window I select Microsoft SQL Server Database File and for the Data Provider I select .NET Framework Data Provider for SQL Server. The error message I get says "Failed to generate a user instance of SQL Server due to a failure in starting the process for the user instance. The connection will be closed.

Thanks In Advance
