Basically, you’ll want to know that the former Wrox Press Book Company was liquidated in the spring of 2003 and no longer exists. The books were sold to various companies. Wiley acquired only 34 of the over 350 books and the rights to the www.wrox.com website address. You’ll find the complete list of books currently available from Wiley Wrox Press at

If A Press at http://support.apress.com also did not acquire the book, it is no longer a valid publication.

Yesterday I wrote this email to support@apress.com

I have a problem to get the Source Code for a book that was published by Wrox.
Title: Professional ADO.NET Programming ISBN: 186100527X.
At the Wrox Forums for this Book I could found an article there was written I have to download
this Source Code from the website http://support.apress.com.
The same I could read on your Source Code/Download site:
If you are looking for downloads to accompany a book published by Wrox prior to 2003
you may find them at support.apress.com
But since yesterday this URL-Adress is not gettable, I always receive the following Error Message:
HTTP 500 Internal Server Error
I'm looking forward you solve this problem and I will have the possibility to get this Source Code.

Today I got the answer.
Thanks for contacting Apress.
Unfortunately the server where the source codes were located crashed.
Our IT guys have been trying to recover the data and has been a slow
recovery. We are unsure when the site will be back up. We apologize
for any inconvenience.
That means the server will be up sometime in the future.
My question is, if somebody has downloaded this sourcecode is it possible
that he can upload the source to rapidshare for example and post a link to this
If this would be practicable, it would be great.

thx very much
