Default I need a Book Recommendation

I have been studying Visual C++ on my own, especially MFC. I am a proficient programmer. Taskbuilding in Visual C++, however, is a Dark Art for me. I can be writing code as fast as the keyboard will allow me. However, all it takes is one LNK2001 hiccup over a symbol like __main , and all my brilliant programming is for naught. :(<s>It just makes me want to cuss!</s>

Is there any Visual C++ Taskbuilding & Troubleshooter's Guide in publication?
