Default Beginning Perl

How about adding a forum and download link on the books page for the Beginning Perl book?

Toma:
This is not one of the books we purchased, which is why you do not see it listed on the books page. However, for this book and any book that we have code for, it is still available from the download page.

Hi Jim,
I bought the book, "Beginning Perl - by Simon Cozens" and try to down load the "code" for that book. But I couldn't locate it on the website. Pls, can you send me the link for that . To my surprise that book is not even listed in your book list.

Wiley did have all of the code for Wrox books at our site but we had to remove the code for books that we did not purchase last week or so at Apress's request. If you cannot find the code at Apress.com, you will need to contact their customer service at [email protected]. Wiley cannot legally give you the code anymore.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

I was able to download the code for the book, but there is one that seems to be missing which is a demo database file to chapter 13 called demo.dbm. Anyone know where a copy of the file can be had?:)

I found an answer to my question in the errata for the book at http://support.apress.com/errata/1861003145_errata.htm

Missing code file
This is regarding the missing demo.dbm file in the code download for this book. Since this particular sample file is not available in the code bundle, you could instead use some other sample DBM database file to run the code. You could also create a sample DBM database following the instructions on page 437 and use this file in the code.
