Default Beginning ASP Databases, by John Kauffman

The sailors.mdb is no where to be found on this site. I suppose this book I bought is totally useless since I can't follow along the exercises that are inside.

Thanks Wrox!

Read this topic: http://p2p.wrox.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=11150

And if you go to the book list referenced in that post you will see that the book you are talking about does not appear. Specifically you can reference this link: http://www.wrox.com/WileyCDA/Section...tDirection=ASC

Based upon that info, I would say that APress still owns the rights to the book and you would need to contact them although I might wait until Jim confirms what I have said or otherwise.

Yeah I already checked those.

Might as well toss this in the wood pile!

This is the reason I knew it was best to stick with O'Reilly books.

Harvey: I wish I could help directly. Apress owns that book and we (Wrox) are prohibited from providing it to you. If you go to the Apress book code download site, you'll find the book listed there. It's page does include the code download and I've downloaded it and confirmed sailors.mdb is in the zip. Hopefully that will save your book from a firey death.
