Axis and Tomcat using swa sample

Does anyone know how I go about trying out the swa example in the axis samples folder? I have Tomcat 5.5 and Axis 1.4 installed. I am new to all of this and would like to learn how to send attachments using swa and wsdl.
You might need to be explicit with instructions because I am new.:D
