Default Apache Tomcat/4.1.2 and Windows 2K Advanced server

How do I get Tomcat to startup automatically when my webserver starts up? I have Apache Tomcat/4.1.27 installed on my MS Windows 2K Advanced web server. Currently I have to open the startup.bat file from the command line.

Thanks,

Wills

Hi,

since version 4, tomcat includes in setup the w2000/nt service option (it's not selected as default option). You can set it as automatic at startup.

Regards,

Nuno

How would I go about doing that?

Run the setup program and check the w2000 / nt service option.

Nuno,

That option is available in 5.0 beta version not the 4.1.2 release version. I'll wait until 5.0 is out of the beta stage.

Thanks,

Wills
