Default CDO newbie.

Hi,

I want to incorporate auto email system in my application, but have some confusion regarding email in ASP.

I am using W2K server. IIS 5.0

Here are they:

1) Is it necessary to have email id which is specified in “From” field. i.e. say i m sending mail to my valid email id [email protected], and specify from as my fake id [email protected] which dosen’t exist.

2) What if by mistake we give “to” field wrong i.e. fake id.

3) Is it necessary to use parameters as http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/con...ion/smtpserver
Is there any alternative of this?

Thanks in advance.
