building a shopping cart
I'm looking to implement an Ecommerce site. Either building the cart myself or integrating a shopping cart solution. I want to use ASP/SQL Server or Access. I'm very knowledgeable with ASP and okay with both Access and SQL Server. Although, I'm not a database application developer. I can build the database, but don't have extensive knowledge on the design structure.
I want to have have a customizable shopping cart solution, which leads me to building the site myself. But the database design would be more problematic for me.
Are there any good resources on designing the database structure for an Ecommerce site? Or, any recommendations on shopping cart solutions that integrate well with Dreamweaver?
