Default Refresh form

I was wondering if there is a way that I can refresh just one drop down menu in a form, after a new option is added. Can I just reload the page with a javascript and have the page maintain the data that was posted in the page previously? Any help is appreciated.

You probably dont want to refresh the entire page since that will get you new data from the server and re-populate your dropdown.

There is an excellent resource on this at:
http://www.aspfaq.com/show.asp?id=2270

It will point you to several articles showing different methods - depending on your situation.

Good luck - hope this helps you

Actually I do want to refresh the page. My only requirements are that the post data from the page preceding the refresh page be maintained and reentered for the refresh.
