Default The problem with pop-up menu and dropdown list

I have a problem for the pop-up menu and dropdownlist in the aspx page.
I used the dreamweaver to create a pop-up menu and created a dropdownlist, but when the pop-up menu display the menu is rendered behind a dropdown list?
thanks.

<select> is a "windowed" control. You can't put a non-windowed control in front of a windowed control. Perhaps you could set the <select>'s visibility to "hidden" when your popup menu is triggered.
