Default news ticker

Hi,

I have used the ad rotator under ASP.NET v1.1 and its ok but
 not really impressive.

I would like to give my website a bit more animated look and feel.

How can I implement a stock ticker tape type control.
I assume thus MUST be a client side control that is driven by
 some scripting ?

if so - can any body point me to an example of how to add this
in to an asp.net webpage ?

 cheers
Chas.
