Hi all,

 if I use the Add New Item function to create a dataset - I then
 use a database table to specify the required tables/fields.

 Once the schema has been created, does this dataset then need
 to know about the database table? ie was the database table
 only used to provide the initial schema information?

 Once created, can I then populate the dataset with data ffrom my own
 query from another database table that has the same schema?

 Clear as mud :) ?
