i just start learning ASP.NET and I have some basics questions on ASP:
1. how to open OpenDialog / SaveDialog in ASP, which is available in VB
2. how to show popup message like msgbox in VB
3. how to close web browser in ASP, like me.close() in VB

any response will be very appreciated.

ASP works from the server side and shows up on the client side. You cannot read / write to the client machiene. You can use JavaScript or any other client side scripting to close the browser window

1. What information do you want to save it to your client computer?
2. you can use client side scripting like javascript to popup a messagebox:
      alert ("Hello World");
3. Using Javascript
      window.close();

1. I would like to download/upload XML file to/from SQL Server
2 & 3. I am using VisualStudio.NET which is default use Codebehind to a VB file, is it possible to put javascript on a VB file?
