Hello

I am new to ASP.Net (Visual studio 2003) and i am not sure on how to insert a new record.
I have worked out how to update/delete a record but nowhere do i see any mention of how to insert a record.


Secondly, on updating a record, where is the best place to validate data entered in the grid.
