how can i restore <input type="hidden"> 's value ?

i often get the value of the hidden like this:
sName = Request.Param["UserName"].toString();//UserName is<input type="hidden" name="UserName" runat="server">

but i want to restore the hidden value to the Response's page.

how to implement it ?

How about sName = Username.Value

yes ,i think so .but after postback the page , the page's hidden input are retrieve the default value.

No, i haven't any client script to set the default value.
