Default String format help ---Live chat

I am developing a live chat application in c#.net .I got a sample application and it has special strings as below .I adont know about these string formats .Please help me to find out ..Any help appreciated ..And also anybody having design for live chat please share with me .I am in an urgent ....

'special strings
'username/(-U-)/message/(-M-)/...
'username/(-U-)/time/(-T-)/...
'(-TS-) - TIME STAMP
