Default Passing the Id to another form

Gud Morning to all, Im using textbox control and search button, example. input "louie", but the name louie is not yet in the database, clicking the search button, redirect to another form and saying "Your input name "louie" is not in the database. My Question is, How can i pass the PersonId to another form? Pls,. Help me...

You need to be more specific. If the string 'louie' isnt in the Database how is it that you have a personID to pass to another page?

To accomplish what your doing you can A) In your Search method you could set a session variable to hold the personID or B) Send it via query string

On the second page you would do something like this:

Dim strID as string = Session("PersonID")
or
Dim strID as string = Request.QueryString("ID")

Then you can do anything you want with that id on the second page.
