Venkat:
You have not provided nearly enough information to make even an educated guess. From the replies and posts earlier, you were able to "display the Datagrid from SQL Server". Now you send the error message "Catastrophic failure". You must provide the following information:
1- A Detail description of what you were doing at the time the error occured;
2- A listing of your source code, and web config that was executing at the time of failure;
3- A detail description of the error, especially if program listing shows at which point in your program where the error occured.
The keywords here are "Detail Descriptions"

I have been working with .NET for a long time and have NEVER seen the compiler throw a "Catastrophic failure" error! (Kinda reminds me in classic ASP when you would get the cryptic "Internal Server Error" message and the interpeter didnt provide you with a line number or anything >< )
Anyway, peace is right we will need to see all the relevant information to help you.

That still doesnt tell me anyting. Can you provided the detailed message that the server returns to the browser window when you try to open your app?
