Default HOW TO PASS A VALUE FROM WEBPAGE TO OTHER WEBSITE

hi

i wanna knw if there's any way .. that i can pass values from a my webpage to a website...

for example . i type a string in a text box and i can get that string in a text box on totally diffrent website...

no i m talkin abt ,passing values from my webpage to a diffrent website which is not mine. query will carry values but inorder to retrieve the value , we have to write code for that... but if i pass a value from my webpage to a diffrent website , how will i retreive value on that page

May be the webmaster of other site would be able to fetch value from querystring!!! I am not sure what you are trying to accomplish!!!

exactly the webmaster can fetch the values ... but i dont knw who webmaster is ?? ill give u a perfect example what i m tryin to achieve..


if write a string into a textbox that is on my webpage ... i can redirect to a page like mail.yahoo.com and i shud be able to get that string into the username txtbox of yahoo...

i assure u i m nt tryin to build a bot . jst wanna learn..

That functionality that you want would have to be built into Yahoo's site. You can't make someone else's web site use the information you have on your site.

You can send a value in a querystring to Yahoo but unless they have the functionality built-in it won't do any good.
