Default Moving a project from localhost to mainserver

I have been working on a project on my local box, using VS.Net and SQL Server 2000. Now I would like to move this project onto a server and have it run there. I copied all the project files onto the server but I cannot get it to open up or run. The error message says, "The file path does not correspond to the URL. The two need to map to the same server location." That's clear enough, but I can't seem to find out how to make the necessary changes so that they do match-up. Is there hope?

Did you use the 'copy project' button that copies it for you and sets up the virtual directory on the server?
