Default how to call serverControl Button event using ....

i am asking if i could call serverControl Button event using client script(js) function...
what i need to do is checking some validations for text fields inputs before refearing to the server usin the server Contol event,
i was able to do that in asp is to make my validations using JavaS Function then call the submit button in certain form..
any one have a comment

If you could do it in ASP you can do it with .net. It's all HTML in the end.

You should be able to call the button's client side click event:

btnMyButton.click()

This will "click" the button for you which will result in a normal server-side postback.
