Default I really need help

Hi

Could any one tell me about what exactly I need to do to run "ASP .NET Web Application" as it always gives me an error and says: "Visual studio .NET cannot create or open because no web server detected at the following URL: http://localhost/webapp1"

I know it needs me to run a server but I always used to write the server application using jsp and this is the first time I use asp could you direct me please

Hi,

Open your IIS snap-in, browse to the /webapp1 subfolder, right-click it, then go to Properties. In the resulting Properties window, go to the Directory tab and look into the Application Settings section. If you see a Create button, click on it and IIS will convert the subfolder into an application. If you see Remove instead of Create, then you should have no problems as that folder is already an application in IIS.
