Default Add few Lines of code to All new aspx pages.

Hi,
I am a great follower of th forum. I have a question in my mid which i m putting it down.

I would like to know that can we have a few links of default code written into the code behind file. Say a few lines for comments. These lines should appear in all the new pages that I create. To make it more simpler we can say I would like to have some line of comment on all the new pages that i create.

I want this done for ASP.NET version 1.1. I know that it can be done in ASP.NET version 2.0 by using refractor give by microsoft.

If anyone has replied to such type of question or have a solution on how this can be done then please let me know about it.

It would be highly appreciable if soem one can provide me this solution.

Thnks
Vishal Gadhia

Hi there,

If this is a one time operation, you can simply modify the default templates.
However, you can also create your own template type, so you can choose it from the New File dialog.

Check out the following links for more information:

I don't understand why refactoring in .NET 2 would fix this problem though....
