Default Page is posting to itself

hi,

 I have created an ASP.Net application in which one form(aspx page) is submitting data to other. I am using action="resultingform.aspx" and action = "POST" in form tag but still clicking on submit button resulting loading the same page again. what could be the reason? please help.Thankin in advance.

hi, thanks this was quite usefull.But i am still having one problem. Now i have used "server.Transfer" for one page but when i come to second page and from that page when i go to third i am facing the same problem. Still the page_load of the same page is called, though i have used the same code almost.. for both the pages, except the resulting page name different . what should i do now??? Because though i have reached second page , still on second page i am back at the square one.plz help
