Default backword compatibility of asp.net 2.0 with 1.x

hi all,

I have one asp.net application developed in visual studio .net 2002. Now we are shifting to Vstudio .net 2005. but I don't want to spend the time in migrating the application to 2.0 because it is giving expeceted results.

Can we keep the application running as it is on 2.0 framework. if in future I make some error correction to that application using vs 2005 will it make any difference.

I am totally new to asp.net 2.0.

Please help.

Default

open your project with v2.0, it will open upgradation wizard. your project will be upgraded to v2.0 with some messageges like error showing on codebehind page attributes etc. . You have 2 spend very little effort to correct this ones. after then u will enjoy new version.
