I hv found this solution

create a virtual directory, juss like u make for a website, place ur exe file in that directory.

and at button click event redirect to this exe file, juss like u do ridrect to a weblink

for example: virual directory is myVD, and exe in it is MyExe
on button click u need write this single line
this.Respose.Redirect("http://localhost/myVD/MyExe.exe");
it will run any kind of exe.

I tried to do the response.redirect, but i get this error: The Zone of the assembly that failed was:
My Computer, Any ideas? I'm new with ASP.NET, and i need to activate the scanner on the client machine by a click on the link button. I have this exe that i use which was built using windows forms, now when the user clicks, on scan item link i want that exe to do all the scanning jobs.

I really did not try it.. but i suppose the Redirect option makes sense.. although I really think it would be much better to create a component that runs this .exe file
