Sharepoint bubbling events

I have a Sharepoint Web Part that's giving me fits. I am displaying results of a search against a database in a Table control, and within that Table are cells that contain link buttons. I can't seem to capture the Click event of the link button in the nested table. Could anyone shed any quick light on how I can capture the click event of the nested linkbutton control?
