Data Encryption in VB.Net and SQL Server

Hello friends
i am worried about this problem that " how to encrypt and decrypt data in vb.net2005 and then send this encrypted data to sql server 2005".
if any one have knowledge about this problem.
then please help me and send me the source code of this porblem
