Dear All,
         I am getting the Parse error in execution of following code:

<cr:CrystalReportViewer id="CrystalReportViewer1" style="Z-INDEX: 102; LEFT: -6px; POSITION: absolute; TOP: -4px"
runat="server" Height="50px" Width="350px"></cr:CrystalReportViewer>

Parser Error Message: The base class includes the field 'CrystalReportViewer1', but its type (CrystalDecisions.Web.CrystalReportViewer) is not compatible with the type of control (CrystalDecisions.Web.CrystalReportViewer).

can anyone please help me to rectify the error?

Have you tried the CR11NETWIN_EN hot fix?
Using the 1.1 framework there seemed to be some errors I was getting when viewing a report that made use of two tables. The reports with 1 table are ok, 2 would throw error.

I'm having the same problems... The HotFix didn't work...

  i also got the same error and finllay solved it.i simply run the ProjectMigrator.exe from D:\Program Files\Crystal Decisions\Crystal Reports 9\Developer Files(may be c:> for u)for noncombatible crystal viewer error.when run the exe browse ur web projetcs folder (ex ->d:\innetpub\wwwroo)and click ok,it will simply update ur crystal viewer control to latest version.assume this may help out for people who got same type of error

Hi,

I have a project using .NEt 2003 and crystal 10. The code works great on my home and another machine witht windows 2000 professional . but on my development machine which is again win2000 pro , my site hangs.

I tried reinstalling vs.net , then i got this error that the crystal reportviewer type is not compatible:

then I uninstalled CrystalREports and installed afresh, this does not give me any error but the site hangs and I am back to square one.

Has anyone ever faced this before?. I would appreciate it if somebody could help me with this one.
