Easy View- Source IE Ques

Hello
My Internet Explorer 6 has default settings.
When I go to View --> Source nothing happens.

Do I need to turn something on or do I have to reinstall it??
I don't have any other problems with any other software.

You mean the page source, to view the page's HTML?

It sounds like there is something wrong with IE. That should pull up a text document with the source...

I'm experienced this problem in the past. At some point I.E. just decides that it won't show HTML source. I found the only solution was to reboot, and eventually to rebuild.

Does this happen on all sites or just a select few?

I have experienced it too on certain sites that have code to prevent viewing source code.

Some sites might prevent you from getting the right-click menu where you'd normally access the "view source" option, but this isn't what I experienced. I got that option, but the source just didn't load.
