Default Why doesn't ASPX site reflect what I just updated

Hello
I am confused because I when I update an ASPX page it sometimes shows the updated page and sometime the old version.
I know that the IP address has changed in last 40 days. I was told that search engines cache the website so when I enter the URL I get the old site. When I enter the IP address I get the updated site.
I was told that in about 30 days search engines will cache the updated site but when I enter the URL I still get the old version.

Are these facts true and is there anything I can do to make the updated pages display today???

There is a chance it is your personal cache. Have you tried killing your chache or replace it with the one currently by opening it with the url and then refresh it once or few times. Killing the cache might be the best option. You might want to setup in your IE general settings to load page every time.

Tools | Internet Options
On the General tab click 'Settings'.
Then select 'Every visit to the page' and 'Ok' twice.
