sorry, i do not want to be rude, but the problem you are, it is not asp.net, at first! you have to understand what means 'inheritance', 'class', 'codebehind', and many 'things'.

this book:

Beginning ASP.NET 1.1 with VB.NET 2003
by Chris Ullman, John Kauffman, Chris Hart, David Sussman
December 2003

will give you a very very good explanation about you need.

In ASP.NET, you don't need to use include files. That concept is for ASP. Any classes that you have compiled into your project will be visible to the code running in the page. This is how you "include" helper functions and other classes that you may wish to use. It all gets compiled into one assembly per project.
