I dont know how does the connector actually works.
But can anyone pls tell me whther i can connect and call third party s/w in DOT NET or not????
ANd How???

Pls help.
Its urgent.

It appears that no know on the forum has done what you are attempting, thus the lack of responses. I'm going to be attending some SAP training in a few weeks and might be able to answer your question then. We are looking to use the SAP connector (I believe it is called NetWeaver) to connect our software to SAP systems.

You've asked a pretty general question which has the theoretical answer of "Sure, why not?" It stands to reason that if a third party software vendor (SAP) has provided you a connector for the .NET environment that you should be able to have your .NET software call that third party system/software. Is there no documentation that comes with this connector? Are you looking to understand how the SAP connector works or how to use it?

Thanks Peter, actually am looking to undertsand how SAP Connector works and also how to use it.
i have some documents on it which i got from
1) www.service.sap.com
2) www.sdn.sap.com

Actually the connector creates a proxy class that is a C# code and we can use this proxy class in dot net which then prompts us a wizard where in we can add the SAP modules which ever we want to call and thus, call the function modules of SAP into Dot Net.
But how does it actually happens behind the scene is quite not clear.

I'll be grateful if you will let me know about it whenever your training will be conducted.

Thanks & Regards,
Muskaan.

Unfortunately, I don't imagine they will tell us much about how their proprietary tools/components work under the hood. You seem to already know far more about this than I do.
