Hi Friends

Its very urgent. Can u guys tell me how do I open a word doc or a zip file from asp.net. e.g. like we open a resume or a word doc in our personal inboxes in yahoo or hotmail.

The doc should open in its own window, i.e. doc should open in a seperate word doc and zip should open in a seperate zip doc

hi,

  So you just want to open .doc and . zip files...there is one easy solution for this...Just keep a hyperlink for that file in your webform...when u click on that hyperlink,it asks you whether you want to save or open..this is like an ordinary downloading process..
