I am doing ASP.Net and Has a table in SQL Server2000 with 12 fields. Now i want to display only 4 fields and set the data grid auto generate column property false. Now i put data in the dataset and give datasource to dataset. and then bind it. Bur the data is not displayed. what is wrong here can u tell me solution.

You are probably not pulling back any data. Run your sql statment in SQ and see if rows are returned. If it returns rows, check to see how you are creating your sql statment in .NET and make sure the syntax, logic, etc are correct.
Post sample code as how you are pulling out data and also what error message you are getting so that it can help in resolving this issue.
check to see if your dataset really contains the data u required to present.
