Default Online quiz/testing application

Hie guys, i am trying to create an online testing/quiz application e.g. those IQ tests whereby you have a question, 4 or more possible answers that can be selected with radio buttons and check boxes depending on the type of question. Could you please point me in the right direction or links of templates.

Later on I'd like to create a "pool" of questions where they can be selected from and loaded. i.e. 400 questions in a db but I'll need to pick say 20 at a time and load them for the online quiz. But thats something im looking to do later.

Umm, i don't really know if there is a template out there for this. All you really need to do is read up on how to pull questions and answers from a database, bind the data to radiobuttonlists, and tally results. Its not to extremely in depth.

www.asp101.com should have enough tutorials to get you pointed in the right direction.

hey dparsons i've been doing some coing and i've come to a holt. I managed to create a template like but at the moment it only caters for 1 question. Im sure you know that it should hold at least 10 questions then move on to the next. Duplicating the controls would mean books of code and Im sure there must be an easier way. Any tips ?

I would recommened using a Datalist and paging. (FYI, the Datalist control does not have "out of the box" paging, you have to implement it yourself.

This article should help you.

Thanks a lot for that, I managed to lok at it but at the moment I have A label for the question and some radio buttons for the selection of the answer. However the datalist is not able to accomodate those controls. I was thinking arrays or something like that but im not sure where to start

....A datalist is quite capable of containing other controls and binding them to seperate datasources.
