Hi there,

Web Matrix targets .NET 1.1 and Visual Web Developer targets .NET 2.0. The two cannot be mixed. So, if you want to build an ASP.NET 2.0 web site, you need to have Visual Web Developer.

Both are free, BTW

Cheers,

Imar
