Do I need the book "Beginning ASP.Net 2.0 " ?
I have had the book of "Beginning ASP.Net 1.0 with C#" , So do I need the "Beginning ASP.Net 2.0 " ? Can I buy&read "Professinal ASP.NET 2.0" directly ?
Please give me advice , Thanks in advance !

Well right now the Beginning ASP.NET 2.0 book only has VB examples so if you write in C# you might not find it useful. I am learning ASP.NET for the first time but have had to stop using this book because we do all of our code in C#.

If you are an experienced ASP.NET 1.0 developer, you should be able to jump directly into the Professional ASP.NET 2.0 book.

Thanks for your reply , Actually , "Beginning ASP.Net 1.0 with C#" is one of the greatest books I have seen , And "Professinal ASP.NET 2.0" is deliveried with C# also , Right? If so ,I will buy it ASAP.

Yes, Professional ASP.NET 2.o uses C#, and VB too. Most examples are shown in both.

I would like to take this question one step further...
I have not yet made the move to ASP.NET, and was wondering if pro ASP.NET 2.0 would be too much to handle straight off, or get a beginner ASP.NET 2.0 or even ASP.NET 1?? What are your thoughts.
P.S. I would like to think I'm a smart guy, and pick things up pretty quick!!

So you're an experienced ASP classic programmer, but not with ASP.NET. Do you have any experience with VB.NET ot C#? If so, you can probably make the jump to Professional ASP.NET 2.0. IF not, I'd recommend starting with Beginning ASP.NET 2.0. The first part of the Beginning book teaches ASP.NET 2.0 with almost no coding, so you can get up to speed before you have to start bringing VB elements into it. Professional ASP.NET 2.0 starts with VB and C# code for ASP.NET 2.0 pretty much from the beginning.

I don't understand...today I bought a "Beginning ASP.NET 2.0"..since I thought the examples are shown in both VB and C# as worx advertised. However, I just found out that the examples are all written in VB.NET..I don't understand why wrox advertising like that...lots of web pages related this book says it comes with both VB and C#.
Will it there be C# version then???
