Default Selecting Text Weirdness

Any idea why in the following page and others like it, when you try to select the text, it selects everything else?

Thanks.

Well, it may be fixed, if not, it's not selecting everything else... ?

Just the text I select.

Hi Aaron,

The problem is probably caused by the fact that this is not really an ASPX page but a Word document disguised as an ASPX page... ;)

But seriously, I think the problem is caused by the loads of Word specific stuff in the page. I have seen the behavior in some <div> based sites as well, but it's hard to tell what exactly the problem is with this page due to all the markup....

Hi,

Can I still use Visual Studio 2005 Beta 2 to develop my ASP.NET sites, and post them to a web host that is presumably running the latest version of the .NET Framework 2.0?

Thanks!

Aaron

If you do so, you're likely to run into many problems. Many things will work, but there have many bug fixes or changes in the RTM version of the software.

Why don't you download and use the free Visual Web Developer Express edition?
