Default Confusion with IIS and downloaded tables

Someone please help a newbie: 2 problems
1. I installed IIS but when attempting to Create Alias (Beginning ASPNET2, Appendix B, page 662) IIS Virtual Directory Mgt does not appear as an available Standalone Snap-in. When I installed IIS, I asked for all options. Install went well. (Am running XP-Pro, SP2.)

2. Files: Appendix B, p. 660 says to create a path: c:\Websites\ ...
and I did that and eventually found all the files for all chapters and put them in that folder. Later on, in Chapter 2 (page 36 Try it out) and subsequently the book refers to c:\BegASPNET2. Where does the book say to create that high level folder? Is it the same
as c:\Websites? Now, in my confusion I have both. What a mess.
